The corner we built

A boxing gym, not a boxing-themed gym.

Southpaw started in a leaking basement off Pusa Road with two heavy bags, a borrowed ring and a coach who refused to teach anyone a hook until their jab was honest. Twelve years on, the leak is fixed and the ring is ours — but the rule hasn't changed.

We don't do choreographed "boxing-inspired" cardio. You'll learn stance, footwork and the four punches properly, hit real bags until your shoulders learn the shots, and — when you're ready and only when you're ready — you'll spar under a coach who knows when to stop the round.

  • Everyone starts on the fundamentals. White-collar beginner or ex-competitor, day one is footwork.
  • Small groups, real eyes on you. Never more than eight to a coach on the mitts.
  • Sparring is earned, supervised and optional. Nobody gets thrown to the wolves.

What members say

“Down nine kilos, and for the first time I can actually throw a jab that means something. They coached me like it mattered from day one.”
Aditya SharmaMember, 14 months
“The women's class is the most welcoming room I've ever trained in and still the hardest workout of my week. Neha doesn't let you coast.”
Kavya MenonMember, 2 years
“Walked in a total desk-jockey. Sparred my first controlled round in eight weeks because they only put me in when I was ready.”
Rohan BediMember, 8 months
