Morning Vinyasa Flow
A breath-led sequence to wake the spine and warm the whole body. Steady, not frantic — you'll leave clear-headed, not wiped out.
Yoga studio · Tapovan, Rishikesh
A warm, light-filled loft above the Ganga where you can unroll your mat, exhale, and remember what unhurried feels like. Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha and meditation — every day.
Our practice
Prana Loft began in 2016 as a rooftop practice for a handful of friends who were tired of yoga that felt like a workout with a deadline. We wanted a room that gave time back — where the teacher watches you, not the clock, and where a beginner and a decade-long practitioner can breathe in the same circle.
Today we're a small studio in Tapovan, five minutes from the Ganga. Wooden floors, tall windows, mountain light. No mirrors, no scoreboards, no rush. Just breath, movement, and a room built to slow you down.
Classes
Every class is drop-in friendly and open to all levels. Not sure where to start? Come to a Hatha Foundations or Morning Vinyasa and we'll guide you.
A breath-led sequence to wake the spine and warm the whole body. Steady, not frantic — you'll leave clear-headed, not wiped out.
Guided breath and silent sitting by candlelight. A soft place to land in the evening and let the day settle before you head home.
Classic postures held with care and clear alignment cues. The best possible start if you're new, coming back, or rebuilding strength.
Long, supported holds with bolsters and blankets. Deep tissue release for tight hips and quiet nervous systems.
Learn to breathe on purpose — techniques to steady the mind, lift energy or wind it down. Suitable for every level.
A gentle standing flow on the terrace as the valley lights up. Limited mats — first light, first served.

Go deeper
Twice a year we open a small residential training — twenty-two days of asana, philosophy, anatomy and the quiet craft of holding a room. Yoga Alliance aligned, taught by Ishani and our senior faculty, capped at fourteen trainees so no one gets lost.
The space
Warm wood underfoot, tall windows, props for every body, and a terrace that opens to the hills.
Your teachers
Founder & Lead Vinyasa Teacher
500-hour certified with twelve years on the mat, Ishani trained in Mysore and teaches a flow that's strong but never harsh.
Yin, Restore & Meditation
A former physiotherapist, Kabir brings an anatomist's eye to long, quiet holds and guided breath. Gentle, precise, unhurried.
Hatha & Pranayama
Meera makes the foundations feel like home. Her Hatha classes are where most of our beginners fall in love with practice.
In their words
"I came for a workout and stayed for the calm. Six months in, my back stopped aching and I sleep like I did as a kid. This little loft changed my week."
"I dropped in on a whim while trekking through Rishikesh and it became the highlight of my trip. Warm teachers, real attention, no ego in the room. Rare."
"The Yin classes undid years of tension I didn't know I was carrying. Kabir's cues are so precise. I leave feeling twice as tall and half as heavy."
Come practise
Roll up a mat, breathe out the journey, and let the room take it from there. Your first class is always free.
Tell us a little about you and we'll hold a mat. We usually reply the same day.
