The Story
A bar that would rather not be found
In the winter of 2019, a retired auditor and a stubborn bartender took a lease on a forgotten cellar off Richmond Road — the kind of room the city had quietly misplaced. They kept the ledger she'd used for thirty years and repurposed it: no debits, no credits, only cocktails, entered one by one in a careful hand.
There is no signage. There is no menu online. Every guest who passes the brass door earns a line in the book — a number, a name, a drink — and the promise that whatever is said inside stays there. We keep twelve seats and a long memory.
- 12seats, per sitting
