Our story

A corner of Pune that always smells like warm bread.

We started in a two-table window seat off North Main Road with one sourdough starter, a battered griddle, and a stubborn belief that a good brunch shouldn't have a closing time. Word travelled fast down Lane 7.

Today the room is bigger and greener, but the ritual is the same: dough proofed overnight, eggs cooked to order, coffee pulled slow. Come in for a quiet weekday flat white or a loud Sunday spread — the light is best around eleven.

Two promises we actually keep.

Breakfast doesn't clock out.

Every plate on the menu is served from the moment we unlock the door to the last order at night. Nine in the morning or nine at night, the griddle's warm and the eggs are cooked to order.

Founder & head chef

“I bake the sourdough here myself, before the doors open. A brunch place lives or dies on its bread and its eggs — everything else is just good light and good company.”

Ira Kulkarni

Trained in a Goa bakery and a Melbourne brunch kitchen, Ira has run the Marigold & Oat pass for six years and still plates every weekend service.
